The Google Nexus One smartphone released on January 5, 2010 is another iPhone killer in the league of smartphones running on Android platform. Powered with the latest operating system – Android Mobile Technology Platform 2.1 (Eclair) is loaded with excellent web searching ability, but lacks in entertainment source unlike other iPhone’s and iTunes. Today’s post will demonstrate how to rip or convert media formats to Nexus One compatible formats. It’s important to note that Nexus One supports:
Audio formats – MP3, AAC, OGG, WAV
Video formats – H.263, H.264, MPEG-4 encoders
Step1. Download Aimersoft DVD Ripper -insert the DVD into your DVD-Rom, then run the software, click “Load DVD” button and add the DVD file. Alternatively, you can add DVD/IFO from your hard disk by clicking “Load File”.

Step 2: Click the “Format” drop down list to select a format. If you want to copy DVD to computer, please select “Lossless DVD Copy (*.vob)”.

Step3 Regular DVD movies usually have several subtitles like English, French, German, Dutch, etc. You can select you’re preferred language from the drop-down list, or you may choose to delete the subtitle by selecting “No Subtitle”. Selecting Audio is the similar.

Thanks for the great article for the Nexus. There is a nice easy program for those who own a droid. Its called the DVD to DROID from DoTheWeb.net, and it’s free.
Thanks again for the great step by step.
