Google has being very aggressive in innovating and collaborating. They seem not to have any plan to stop or slow down. Most of Google’s money came from search, so they are thinking is a good idea to bring search to TV. Google is working with Dish Network to bring search to your TV. The Dish box for this service will most likely be power by android OS. You can expect it to feature extra Google services like Youtube and other internet goodies. Google recently announced that they will be working on high speed internet; I wouldn’t be surprised if Google TV is where they are heading to.
