Cisco appears with 7-inch Android tablet
A news spotted out by Electronista that Cisco might release an Android based communication tablet designed to work specifically with the traditional Cisco feature-set. This feature enables VPN and WebEx for meetings.
The news landed from the most current event of CNET’s Buzz Out Loud. Electronista had to say on the matter given just below,
Irish listener’s e-mail response about 37 minutes into the podcast claimed that Cisco is working on a 7-inch, Android-based tablet that would most likely be used for business communication. It would probably have hardware tailored to this with a front camera, dual microphones with noise cancellation, and possible support for Cisco-oriented features.
Definitely at this point there is no way to validate or refute the current claim. We certainly do not have any information such as how much this device will cost or when it will become available. However, it is certainly a story to keep an eye out and we’ll do some digging of our own to see what we can over-turn.

Best Buy goes ahead with HTC Evo 4G only for $199
I think this news might be both official and a rumor at the same time. Darrin Morton from ozcarguide took a stop buy his local Best Buy after the chain-store giant decided to get involved with the HTC Evo 4G.
A Best Buy rep, from the Geek Squad, had advised that they will be selling the HTC Evo 4G on a $199 Sprint contract plan. He had no further information other than this but we can deduce it must be the 2 year plan.
This is undoubtedly a great price point, so here’s to hoping that it’s true. Morton gives a shout out to Steven from Best Buy to give his post that little bit extra-credibility.
Vonage Mobile offers free domestic Wi-Fi calling
I got this news from MobileBurn.com yesterday, I am writing here in short for my Android fans.
Android Smartphone users on T-Mobile USA or AT&T, can now get the Vonage Mobile app from the Android Market. It will provide access to cheaper international rates on a pay-per-use plan or unlimited calling to 60 countries for US$24.99 per month. Better yet, use it as free domestic VoIP calling when access to a Wi-Fi network.
I am sure that free U.S. calling over Wi-Fi save your calling plan minutes for those pesky inbound calls by making your outbound calls free of charge. Save your All calls, Wi-Fi or not, will show up as coming from your phone number, too. This function works very simply just like Google Voice. So, rush t to proof the greatest offer.
