I am excited to hear that there may be huge leaps and developments going on with the android platform, I’m also happy to hear that the android team is keeping busy on its platform.

Most popular browser like Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer are using updated plug-in which are totally new for us. The first and second page of different browser are alike with previous platform but amazingly the third page of the browser #42 came up as Android 3.0. So there was no late to understand that we are at the time of Android 3.1.

The main new feature of version 3.0 is calling over WiFi, allowing Android handset owners to make free calls to other Truphone, Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Talk and Skype users. In addition, there’s also the standard ability to make cheap phone calls to mobile and landlines; as well as chat with your buddies across IM networks.
In addition to WiFi calling support, the new version also comes with revamped UI. Unfortunately, the latest Android handsets (with Android 1.5 and above) are not supported at the moment, but Truphone wowed to fix that soon. The Truphone application is free and can be updated from the Android maiket.
