Cellular South confirms Motorola Milestone

Cellular South, regional carrier confirmed Motorola Milestone. The carrier posted a riddle on their Facebook page earlier today that I had been struggling with, but our friends over at AndroidGuys figured it out.

There is a joint venture between Motorola Milestone and HTC Hero and this venture is now with Cellular South’s Android lineup. More devices are expected to be announced soon, but this is the “true game-changer” they hinted at last week. Even though the Droid came out last year, it is still the best Android phone you can purchase with a full QWERTY keyboard. I know a lot of T-Mobile users who would jump at the chance to get the phone if they could.

I must say we are certainly impressed with Cellular South’s Android strategy. Even though they are a smaller regional carrier, it looks like they are taking Android more serious than some of the big boys (like AT&T).

Many of you have asked, “What’s next for Android?”
It won’t be long now.
Look out for an announcement very soon.
Everyone is going to be excited when they see what’s next.
Sorry we can’t tell you the name of the phone just yet.
There’s one thing we can tell you, though.
Once you’ve seen what this phone can do, you’ll be amazed.
Now, stay tuned.
Everyone will know eventually, but you’ll hear it here first. Cellular Southvia Facebook
