Google Phone Store to shot down
The Nexus One store seemed to be a brilliant idea initially, but it might be a failure afterall. Google has announced that they will be closing the store, and will be going back to the old method. Google plans to turn the device to carriers and retailers to start selling in their stores.
According to Google, “Once we have increased the availability of Nexus One devices in stores, we’ll stop selling handsets via the web store, and will instead use it as an online store window to showcase a variety of Android phones available globally”. Apparent buyer prefer to walking and test phones before buying.
