Onstar version 2.0 app in Google I/O

The Onstar Version 2.0 previewed at CES is going to get more appreatioan fot its new navigation tab to the OnStar Mobile app for Android which allows users to locate their car in Google Maps. This is addition to those features that let drivers to control car functions like charging their Volt, unlocking and locking their doors, remotely starting the engine, running diagnostics, and receiving automatic alerts.

First version of Onstar app was not more than a demo, but the developer is going to depict  the new app at this week’s Google I/O. Check back tomorrow for a full hands-on report.
