You may already have it marked on your calendar with a big red circle, but here’s a friendly little reminder that Verizon will be hosting a press event Wednesday, June 23, to unveil its latest Droid device.
The carrier has already let the identity of the phone out of the bag by posting a teaser site for the Droid X, as well as a rather creepy YouTube video. From these two things, we know a few details about the device: it will have a 4.3-inch display, HDMI output, and 720p video capture. It also looks like the Droid X will land sometime in July.
Of course, we expect to get the full scoop today when the news conference kicks off at 10 a.m., PT. Speakers will include Verizon’s Executive Vice President John Stratton, Google Vice President of Engineering Andy Rubin, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha, and Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen.
