That is outdated info relevant to Nickel Cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydride days. Lithium Ion batteries work best when never allowed to go below 25% charge. They do not have battery memory as did the older technology. Also, don’t leave your unit on a charger when it is fully charged. Cycle the battery but don’t let it fully discharge.
