The much-awaited upgrade to Android 2.1 for Sony’s X10 family of devices has been pushed back to late October. The company has slacked its calendar year once again and Xperia10 users have to bear the tragic wait for few more weeks to enjoy Eclair. The update was due in September.
The company is consoling users with the promises of bundling HD video and continuous autofocus into the updated Xperia X10 series, however, the buzz doing the rounds tell us, that different configurations of the phones will receive updates at different times. Do not be disheartened if your French-speaking X10 Mini continues the Donut deep into November.
