V cast app store

According to Androidandme, Verizon has open apps submission to V Cast App store. V Cast App store is verizon’s own competition with Android Market. It will have the freedom of Android and a little control-kinda like Apple- as Verizon is planning to have all submitted apps evaluated before lunched.

Initially the V CAST App store will only be available on Verizon devices running Android 2.2 which includes the Incredible, Droid 1, Droid 2, and Droid X. Additional versions of the Android OS might eventually be supported, but for now 2.2 is the standard.

Hopefully Verizon will be able to add more fueatures that a lacking in the Android Market to their shop and probabbly raise the bar.
