Mozilla Firefox has been doing well for PC, and the same legacy continues to their mobile aka Fenne. Firefox 4 for Android and Maemo in beta version has arrived, and Mozilla looks forward to grow its most demanding product in the mobile market.

Fenne works on the Firefox 4 alpha platform, and the development team is working hard to arrive at a stable version for the beta launch.

What technology does Fenne offer? The technology on the phone is similar the Firefox platform built for desktops. The technology though has been slightly tweaked to best fit the phone browsing and operations capabilities.

What more you get is the Add-ons and the awesome bar in addition to popular Firefox desktop features like Firefox Sync. To top the icing on the cake, Firefox for Android and Maemo displays a unique screen that instantly allows access to your recent history, bookmarks and tabs simply by tapping in the bar. Sounds exciting?

The beta version on Firefox Sync allows to match and sync information stored on your PC and mobile, pinch to zoom while you browse.

Mozilla’s focus on Fenne is to increase performance and responsiveness. Thus, two significant features- Electrolysis and Layers play a vital role.

Electrolysis, included in the alpha, allows the browser to run in a separate process to the rendering engine.

Layers, aids overall performance and graphics like scrolling, zooming and animations.

We hope to hear the official launch date soon.
