This app does exactly what it says, In-App Wi-Fi allows you to turn Wi-Fi on or off, whether you’re browsing, playing, listening to music, texting or emailing. Press the search button for long and receive a pop up choice to enable or disable Wi-Fi. Alternatively, assign the app to long press the call button.
In-App Bluetooth allows you to toggle Bluetooth on or off in the same way as it’s cousin In-App Wi-Fi, press the search button for long. Useful especially when you’re climbing into the car and want to quickly turn on Bluetooth to set up a headset or speaker system. Long press, dialog window pops up, select In-App Bluetooth. Voila! You’re all set. Repeat to disable to save battery life.
Gesture Search straight out of Google Labs, allows you to quickly find a contact, bookmark, music track, or an application by drawing gestures on your device’s touchscreen. What’s unique about it? For instance, perform a name search for Angelina Jolie. As you type each letter (A, n, g, e, l, i, n, a) on the screen the app brings up all the choices related to those letters and restricts the search further with more types. Hence, by the time you finish writing Angelina, results only Angelina in them will appear.
The downside to this app is that you have to start from an icon on your homescreen each time you want to use it. This surely consumes time, especially when in hurry.
Gesture Search Bar further enhances the Gesture Search app and makes it easily accessible via long pressing the search button. Unlike it’s cousin, this app starts instantly with a long press and you do not have to hunt the app to load the program. Alternatively, create a shortcut in the notification bar and pull it down to enable it at anytime.
