The uniqueness of HTC Sense UI is definitely the clock/date/calendar widget. That out of the box widget has never failed to amaze us, every time a new and improved version of it is launched. I guess most of us go green at the sight of this amazing app, if we don’t posses it. Fancy Widget evolved from the Sense widget, while adding a host of handy features.
In due course of time, it instantly hit the popularity charts and ended up on HTC Android phones. The reigns of this app was give in the hands of Google, that promised to re-build a more powerful app and re-release it with an updated UI. This brings us to the present day.
Fancy Widget Version 2 was released on 25th October 2010 in the Android Market, with a brand new design and architecture. The UI is certainly different and unique- it is functional and easy to read as before and does not copy Sense. So what’s new? Read on and find it out yourself.

If you have used the old FW before, you will notice that the new version has more features. To top the icing on the cake, if you upgrade your old app, you will not lose the old information. Why? Since the new version utilizes a different package name, therefore it’s absolutely a fresh app in the market. Install it next to your old version and judge for yourself.
