HTC aims to lead the bandwagon of the Smartphone industry and it has done it once again with the development of a new Android handset, codenamed HTC Mecha.
The phone has shown up numerous times in the ‘Choose your phone’ section of the account creation screen for HTCSense.com, the company’s new phone portal to keep track of your phone’s content and location.
Listed under the Desire HD and Desire Z is the Mecha, along with a picture, displaying right next to HTC Hero. We thought that the information has accidentally leaked, but soon we realized it’s a high profile phone that doesn’t require accidental leakage.
It’s highly unlikely that HTC Gratia and HTC Hero with upgraded versions will land in November. Therefore, we’re sure HTC Mecha is a brand new launch from the HTC brigade. We hope it’s not plainly a US variant with a new facelift, and it’s brand new.
Let’s wait and watch how the table turns, when the phone will release this month. Don’t go anywhere, we will keep you posted on HTC Mecha.
