The Android Market has being getting all kind of improvements within the past few weeks. Google, however, did not announce a major addition to the Android Market, demo videos. No one is sure why Google has not mention this feature, but AppsFire team discovered the video demo API. According to the AppsFire blog, Google recently made the API changes necessary to tap into these video demonstrations, meaning other third-parties could leverage the software demonstrations as well.
Developers can now upload video demonstration of their apps. Given that screen shots alone can not explain the complexity of most Android apps, demo videos should definitely increase user experience and help increase app sales. It should also help easy the 15 minutes paid app return pain.
According to Gigamo, AppsFire found only 500 apps presently have demo videos.
