Android 2.3 based custom ROM for HTC Droid Eris is now in a good stable shape. Named as KaosGingerbread, version 6 of this ROM has been released with most of features including WiFi, Bluetooth, Audio, Lights, G-Sensor, Radio fully functional.

How To Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread On HTC Droid Eris

1. Download KaosGingerbread V6 (50.99MB)

2. Copy the downloaded ROM file (kaosgingerbread-v6.zip) into phone’s SD card.

3. Reboot your HTC Droid Eris  into Recovery mode.

4. In the Recovery mode, select “Wipe data & cache” option.

5. Apply “kaosgingerbread-v6.zip”.

6. Reboot your device.

That’s it. You should now have Android 2.3 Gingerbread installed on your HTC Droid Eris.
