Vizio reveals Via Tablet and Phone with Android

No Comments Android, Android phone spec, Android phones, News

Vizio the popular entertainment company that offers packaging of high-end features into value-priced HDTVs, it seems the company is taking that mentality to new areas, when we spotted the 8-inch Via Tablet and a 4-inch Via Phone during TV commercials. Both will be running Android and we strongly believe the OS will be nothing less than Honeycomb.

The only Via Phone details mentioned are screen size and its front and 5MP rear cameras, while the tablet promises a “high resolution” screen, Wi-Fi, three speakers, HDMI out and front facing camera, but no cellular service.

We expect TV manufacturers to be on their toes, since Vizio will bring 3DTVs to market that begins at less than $300. The new mobile product will tie into its TV business through the Via Plus internet service, this sounds similar to Samsung Apps via Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Android market access. We would get to enjoy Vizio On Demand movie services across all its devices.

We hope this new whiff of technology would bring us the same quality as its promising in its ads, when Vizo launches its products this summer.
