Toshiba is kicking off its unnamed Tegra 2-powered, Android Honeycomb tablet at CES, 2011.The undisclosed tablet supports 10.1-inch screen, with capacitive, high 1280 x 800-resolution display along with an accelerometer and ambient light sensor. It also supports 5-megapixel rear camera including 2-megapixel front-facing one. With full size USB and HDMI jacks, a single mini-USB socket, and an SD card slot, this tablet is sure well stocked.

It seems the dual-core Tegra 2-powered tablet awaits Android, as Toshiba hinted at waiting for the launch of Honeycomb. But we sure are impressed with the EasyGrip, spill-resistant, rubberized back felt solid in hand and weighing 1.7-pound with 6-inch thickness, and the swappable rear cover, so not only can you change its color but you can replace the battery?

Toshiba’s maintaining that the tablet will be released in the first half of 2011and the pricing will be competitive. But, we’re obviously lacking quite a bit of information here to make any further decisions, we’ll be digging hard to get more information for you on our Vegas trip.
