Today, FCC approved two tablets by Archos. The Android run devices are christened as ARNOVA 10HT and ARNOVA 8.
Rumours have it that ARNOVA 8 supports 8-inches screen and runs Android 1.5 OS, offers 800X600 resolution display with 311MHz ARM CPU and 8GB of storage, making it an entry level Android device for eBook reader market.
Meanwhile, ARNOVA 10HT supporting 10-inch screen, seems to be a conventional Internet tablet. According to FCC reports, the device supports Wi-Fi.
As of now, that is all we know about the Archos’ ARNOVA line. Pricing and release date is still under covers, but with FCC approval we are hopeful of getting the information soon. Keep tuned!
