The Fast Web Installer – AppBrain returns to the Android Market Web Store after its discontinuation in November of 2010.

To utilize it, you’ll need to download the latest versions of the AppBrain app and Fast Web Installer to your phone. Next, enable Fast Web Installer in the AppBrain app’s preferences before signing into appbrain.com on your computer. The setup process may not be as seamless as that of the Android Market Web Store, but you do get a few additional benefits exclusive to AppBrain –  the ability to uninstall apps, upload wallpapers to your phone, and send links to the device.

The downside – AppBrain doesn’t have access to Google Checkout, Fast Web Installer can’t Install paid apps and can’t install apps not regularly available on your device.

Verdict: Nevertheless, Fast Web Installer is a great way to push free apps, links, and wallpapers to your phone, and we’re happy on its return.
