Only a couple of day ago, CyanogenMod team released its third candidate (RC) for CyanogenMod 7, and today the RC 4 version is ready for download.
This build most likely will be the last release candidate before we see a final, stable version of CM7. That’s a positive news, because CM7 RC4 is fairly stable. Some existing bugs on the EVO and Nexus One are yet to be fixed, but there should be plenty of other bug fixes within this release. Those of you with NookColor will be delighted to know that hardware acceleration is now supported in this build.
That said, the team is headed for a stable release of CM7 based on Android 2.3 OS aka Gingerbread. This alone helps the CyanogenMod team to easily target bugs that must be addressed.
At this rate, we are likely to see a stable release of CyanogenMod 7 as the popular custom Android ROM available!
