If You Drive A Saab, Your Car May Soon Be Android-Powered

Auto manufacturer Saab announced the arrival of their Infotainment system- IQon, which will use Android to power a variety of functions in vehicles.

While used largely for music and video entertainment, it will also incorporate Navigation and will even monitor the car’s on-board computer. The company claims that IQon will allow upgrade, personalization, and downloads of apps like Angry Birds. No word on whether the Saab will be rootable or if Cyanogen will be developing it.
