With the T-Mobile press release it seems that there are more devices other than the G2x dual-core phone that has received the limelight. Both G-Slate 3D tablet (LG) and the Sidekick 4G (Samsung) finally received the price tags.
The 8.9-inch G-Slate tablet from LG, running Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb will cost $529.99 after $100 mail-in rebate. But, you have to sign a 2-year contract, sign up for a voice line and enrol for EasyPay. Complicated, isn’t it? It’s a decent deal for people who can handle the same carrier for next two years. AT&T may be the new owner of T-Mobile next year, and what’s in for store, nobody knows. No word on the Wi-Fi version, yet.
Next, the Sidekick 4G form Samsung, supports 3.5-inch screen display with iconic keyboard. It gives you a run of $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, provided you sign up for a 2-year contract with unlimited data or $149.99 if selecting a cheaper plan with metered data. This deal sounds fair, considering 2 cameras, HSPA+21 connectivity and 1GHz Hummingbird processor.
So what are you waiting for? Take your pick.
