Google Translator Update: Android can now speak Japanese, Arabic and Korean

With seamless translation of text, or even complete websites in milliseconds from one language to the other, Google Translate is a modern marvel.  Users of Android phone have been enjoying this dedicated Google Translate app for a while now, and it seems that Android users are receiving preferential treatment with the latest version announced.  

With the latest version, the text that’s spoken sounds so much more human like, and text to speech support for Japanese, Arabic, and Korean has been added. Now, there are total of 58 languages that you can translate to and from in plain text, and 24 that can be spoken aloud. For Google Translate to work, your phone must be Android 2.1 and higher.

So what’s the utility? Within quick seconds, it brings the world closer to you. Specially, if you travel extensively, for business or pleasure, use Google Translate throughout the day, for easy communication.

It is a free app offered by Google. Download it from Android Market.
