In the past Sony Ericsson’s Walkman series phone have been hugely popular amongst the younger generation, and it seems that the company is planning to reap that with an Android touch. Yes folks, Sony Ericsson might launch a Walkman series W15 with Gingerbread aka Android 2.3, and it will have series of multimedia codec support. The leaked specifications include an entry-level 600 MHz processor, 3 -inch display, 3.2 mega-pixel camera and dedicated music button.
Though the images of W15 are currently unavailable, yet the rumors tell us that it is supposed to be having Xperia X8 like form-factor. Company seems to be targeting the low /medium segment. The launch date is expected April end or early May.
