Google is making real goggle powered by Android

No Comments Android, Android Accessory, Android Apps, Google

While you can now capture event in picture or video with your Android phone, Google is looking to take it further with Android powered goggle. The new Google glasses will bring in new era in “wearable computing”. It would be something unique: a network-connected pair of spectacles with a camera and a display that could record images and video of one’s surroundings and display information from elsewhere on a tiny screen. It will also be able to tream information to the wearer’s eyeballs in real time.

Google glasses

The glasses will send data to the cloud and then use things like Google Latitude to share location, Google Goggles to search images and figure out what is being looked at, and Google Maps to show other things nearby, the Google employee said. “You will be able to check in to locations with your friends through the glasses,” they added.

According to several Google employees familiar with the project who asked not to be named, the glasses will go on sale to the public by the end of the year. These people said they are expected “to cost around the price of current smartphones,” or $250 to $600. They will also have a 3G or 4G data connection and a number of sensors including motion and GPS.

Google is not completely happy with knowing what we search, they will like to know what we see?

Angry Birds go space

No Comments Android, Android games

Come March the 22nd, a new Angry Birds will be available called Angry Birds Space, Rovio has now announced what it’s describing as its biggest launch since the original game. This new release also involves two major power house, NASA and National Geographic only because the managements knew that their employees are playing the game instead of working (just kidding). But Rovio involving NASA and National Geographic is epic, given that no one know more about space than NASA and National Geographic. As you can probably guess, the hook this time around will be some new physics to deal with, including zero gravity and a new “lightspeed destruction” feature, but details on the game itself otherwise remain a bit light, including any specific word on supported platforms. Rovio is apparently planning a big push at launch though, with a simultaneous rollout planned across “mobile gaming, animation, retail, and publishing.” It’s also promising to reveal more details ahead of that in early March.
