Earlier today it occurred to me that there most be some other android apps stores out there besides Google android market, so I went on the quest looking for other android app stores. I found a few:

AndAppStore:
The store was started late 2008. There was 355 apps in there store when I checked, and they seemed to be open to a wide variation of apps. They have a simple website, easy to navigation, and very accessible. Facebook Plus is their leading download, second to AndAppStore Client which you can download to monitor their store.

OnlyAndroid:
was launched MobiHand late 2008 as a dedicated portal to android apps and every android. Besides apps they also sell hardwares including production skin, phone cases, holsters, batteries, charges, and other accessories. Meteor Brick Breaker was their leading download when I checked on sales for $3.99 until December 20.

Handango’s Shop:
Handango’s android shop was launched just when the G1 was released. The have an extensive list of apps in their store. They also carrier apps for palm and Symbian phones.

Mikandi.com
was introduced November of 2009, they plan on offering adult apps. Presently they will be the only store that categorically offers that services as most apps store have being strictly against adult apps.

SHOP4APPS:
Motorola’s Android apps store allegedly taken down by motorola after it was discovered by the folks at androidandme.com. The site may still be under testing at motorola lab but indications that motorola is recruiting apps developers can be found here. So expect something from the MOTODEV soon.
Those are the android apps store list I found so far. Check back for updates.
Note: there are claims that apps prices variable from store to store, so make sure you check your fav app price at another store before buying, you may be able to save some bulks.
